I received my Kindle as a birthday present a year ago, and really do like it. Another nice feature is the ability to download Kindle to your PC or iTouch/iPhone and read on them.

It is very difficult to hand quilt a quilt that has a sheet as the backing. However, I don't think it should be a problem in a quilt that is to be machine quilted.
