I am grasping at straws here, but is there someone with a Riccar 707 or 807? I could really use a video or pix of the inside of one of these, especially in the area that controls the reverse button....

Thanks! I have watched several of his videos. My current frustration is that I need to replace the motor belt but I can’t get the hand wheel off cuz the screw on the end is stripped.

Never mind; I got it! There was a thin plastic case holding the whole motor in. I even found the carbon brushes. One step at a time.
