    I have heard that you use crushed walnut shells. You can get this at pet stores. Used for cage bottoms.

    I would go to a sewing machine shop. Walmart have some Our Senior Center has bought 2 Brothers from Walmart and they have been very good. I believe the price was $149.00 God bless
