It is called the block marker tool. I bought mine from Nancy's notions. And you are right it does have a hefty price. I paid 49.99. I haven't used it that much at all.

Grip strips is the only thing I use now. I had tried everything else and nothing ever seemed to work. They are great I use them on all my rulers, wouldn't be without them

I just finished the 1o minute block on a king size quilt. It was so easy. I embroidered butterflies on the squares before folding them for the middle. My sister loved it.
