    I slice strips and use them in Kitty pillows. They make great gifts for kitty friends. Guess you could make then into doggie pillows too!

    It is easier for me to work with "fresh" fabric ans like you said, it is a mess when it is washed first. I tried clipping the corners, but it just didn't work well for me.

    I hardly ever prewash. Got that from an instructor. The material is so much easier to use. Then it all shrinks a bit and it is soft and comfy!
