    I'm not sure if the BL machines you are referring to mean Babylock or not, but my Babylock Ellegante change the size of the embroidery, not just on the screen.

    With the Creative Grids and BlocLoc Pineapple block rulers I can make a throw size quilt top in about 3 weeks. It's really easy but looks hard, and they're fun to make.

    I only pin when matching seams or to keep seam allowances from flipping. Often I will use clips at the beginning and ending of strips edges about two inches away from the seam line.
