Thanks! I've been crunching the numbers as well and it's looking like the HL coupon is the way to go - it's 4.19/yd (with coupon) and of course there's no shipping. I double checked and Hobby Lobby...

I always wash - I, too, had a bad experience with some red fabric. I also use cotton batting and my quilts still get that wrinkly appearance after their first wash. (which I love!)
