Great Idea, Makes the spread pop. best thing is you can change runners seasonally and a lot less expensive and takes up less room. :)

I used the fusible interfacing method and pressed it on to the sq.and batting, then used a blanket stitch around it. I used a feather stitch or one of the many quilting stitches on my Brother ULT2001...
