Viking Saphire 835 Sewing Machine

Does anyone have any particular hints on using this machine. I just bought one and am slowing learning how to use it. Just thought I'd see if anyone else has one of these.

It was - that was close enough I got it. I just watched Jenny's tutorial on the scrappy four patch. I like that one too. Will have to get more charm packs for the future. Saves some cutting time.

I just looked up the "How Charming" pattern of Eleanor Burns and I really like that one. I think it will be perfect. I Like the disappearing 9 patch one also so will have to try it out some day...

Do you use a normal sewing machine to machine quilt? I'm wanting to do some machine quilting but can't afford to buy a bigger machine for it. Going to try to use my regular machine to do it.
