If you want the foam boards but don't have space, they work great in front of bookcases of fabric. They are handy and the fabric from lite.

On magazines, I cut what i wanted out, then filed by shapes and subjects. Lines, squares, triangles....log cabins. rail fence, roman stripe . Each shape categories had separate files behind it....
