    Need help making a memory quilt

    I will be making a memory quilt from cotton pajama pants, dickey work pants, cotton shirts, and lined jackets. What should I use on the back of the cotton pj pants to give it more substance? TIA...

    Question about t-shirt quilt

    A friend of mine is going to make her first t-shirt quilt. When she went to her JoAnns to buy the stabilizer the lady told her she used muslin and spray basted it to the t-shirt. Has any one done...

    What kind of thread to use?

    Lately I have been making quilts/blankets with cotton pieced top and minky on the back. My cotton fabric is pre-washed. Which thread should I use. Cotton or poly?

    Mixing broadcloth with cotton fabric

    Rummaging thru my stash I have found about 2 yards of broadcloth....not sure where it came from:rolleyes:......is it okay to mix broadcloth with regular cotton fabric if everything has been washed? ...

    I have sewn many times with the fusible fleece and have never had a problem with it gumming up the needle.
