It is the best thing you will ever do for yourself! I quit about 15 years ago after smoking 35 years. I can't stand the smell of cigarettes now. If a smoker walks by me, I can tell in a heartbeat....

They do sleep on a bare mattress. Mommies use something called a "sleep sack" which is like a blanket that fits on the baby to keep them warm. It's a wonder my kid survived with a quilt in his crib.

I love mine. I put it in my lap when cutting the chain pieced squares apart. It keeps the cutter steady and doesn't cause as many back problems because I'm not "reaching" with my arms.
