thamks, I'll try to reduce to presser foot pressure. I did put pins in, that's how I knew I was having problems. :) every time I got to a pin, I would have too much of the top fabric.

Glad to hear you like it! Is the extension table sufficient for quilting? Also, does the needle button really put the needle in down position when you stop sewing? I've read varying things on this....

Thanks, all! I should add that I have not yet bought a walking foot for the Bernina ($170ish). I could also get the walking foot plus the bsr for $800 total but need to make a quick decision on that...
