    I know that I've seen instructions for that type of tensioner but can't remember where.
    It's similar to a Kenmore tensioner so you might be able to do a Google search...

    Caroline, you can use 1 x 3's. They are pretty lightweight. I store mine under one of the beds. They stick out some but can be pushed up close to a wall.

    I recently bought the Continental dry iron, from Amazon, and love it.

    It is smaller than my Oreck iron but has a nice heft to it. Gets nice and hot, too.

    I would definitely recommend this...
