You are right QuiltE. $10/yd or mitre is a bargin in Ontario. Even when the Cdn dollar was higher we pay more. Plus our "discount" Fabricland keeps closing stores.

Be glad you are in the US, in the Toronto, Ontario area we are paying 1.20/litre or approx 4.80 a US gallon!!!!. And the Cdn dollar is currently par or better. Darn gov't taxes.

When the thread goes through the tension dial, make sure you give it a little pull to ensure it is seated properly. That made a big difference for me.
