I would put a solid colored sashing all around the pieced part of the quilt--I think it would set off the border fabric, which I really like. I'm thinking maybe a navy blue.?

Did anyone go to the San Francisco quilt show?

I couldn't go this year but heard that it was the smallest show in many years and that they didn't have many vendors. If anyone went, did you take pics and if so, could you post some? Thanks.

I stopped using the boards I purchased because they take up more room. They made the fabric bulkier on the shelves and I just don't have the room. I just fold the fabric now.

Hey!--I'm making the same pattern.! Mine's in different color gradations. Next time I do this pattern I think I'll do it with a limited palette, like yours. It looks great.!!
