    I also found it helps to fold the block in half and gently crease with an iron along the horizontal and vertical centers, and also with both diagonals.

    Thank you! After much debate and teeth-gnashing, I ended up purchasing Embird Studio a couple months ago. I tried out several programs and liked Embird the best. So far, it has not disappointed!
