I love to hand quilt. I'm starting to meander outside of the ditch these days....I think wholecloths are in my future!
I piece and am starting to get into more intermediate piecing because I want to make my quilting better. I love following the seams on the top to see it come to life in the backing.
Someday I might have a medium size arm or something if I ever really get into machine quilting...but I love my handwork and find it so relaxing. It takes me approx 6 months to quilt a queen size working on it a little each day.
I recently starting quilting a lady's smaller tops. I wish more people were patient like her and give me the time to finish. With the invention of the long arm, many people don't like the handwork anymore...takes too long.
