I made one with my dh jeans and it was very heavy but we love it. I will make the next one from thinner denim from ladies dresses or skirts. I went to Goodwill and found all denim for .50 each. You can get a lot of squares from those. Some have cure embroidery designs on them. Just stay away from the stretchy denim.
