there's no model number. the serial number is EJ252242. right above the serial number, on the pedestal of the machine, is a little plaque that says 99K. above that is a lever that says, at the top, BACK TACK

i researched it before i posted and i know it was made in scotland, in clydebank, outside edinburgh, in 1953. since then, i looked up singer 99K and saw pix and they were exactly the same.

do you have a pic of the 201?
