The first one I made, I over lapped them, but I found I didn't care for that so it makes no diffrence how you do it, just as long as you like the completed case. Sooooo what ever tickles your fancy, go for it. you can do these like a chain stitch thing like you would in quilting and get a whole mess of them made.
