I've used Walmart fabric on the factory rem tables for making clothes that I will never wash. In the past I have had many occations to wear a formal gown at functions in Alaska and then again in the states. I can make a dress for less than ten dollars, wear it four times to a formal function and dinner and then feel ok about pitching it into the rag bag or cutting it up for another project.
