Well, I believe my journey as a quilter is as much about the process as the finished product. This includes collecting fabric, patterns, magazines, etc. A lot of the enjoyment I receive from my hobby comes from the collecting. I don't feel guilty. If someone needs something, I freely share. I try to use fabric I have. But if I see something I love and I have money, I will buy it. I recently purged all my magazines. I tore out the patterns I wanted and shared with my quilting group. I do the same with fabric I grow tired of. I give myself an allowance each payday and don't spend more than that. So I can't get myself into trouble. No worries, friends. Love your fabric.
