Try to remember the people you made quilts for and that are still in your life. I am sure there are many. It seems the bad way to you, because you are giving away a lot of quilts. We are human and people come into our lives; some stay for ever and some leave. Some leave in a peaceful way and some not always peaceful. Your quilts have nothing to do with it. Is human nature to have fall outs. Maybe later on they will see the quilt you gave them, think of the good times with you and come back into your life. At that time you can say that your quilts brought you back together because the quilt is an expression of the love you have or had for them. This may work in every case, but if it works in one, it was worth it.
