I like tied quilts and the look of them. I do not do them often.
I do frequently add ties in combination with quilting just for the look of it.
I did one large shabby queen quilt that was stippled for a wedding and added both antique buttons and ties for the look.
Pictures are from a baby quilt with both quilting and ties. Quilt marks are not washed off yet.
