I bet our 4-H years have helped us with the commitment to work thru many of our quilting challenges and stick-to-it-ness to get things done.

And even to have that haunting in us when UFOs and PhDs are left sitting. Kind of reminding us about panics before Club deadlines, County Fairs, Achievement Days, etc! :)
When I started on the Alumni group we were all ex 4-Hers, naturally. We started discussing who was going to do what etc and I sat back amazed at how everyone came forward saying "I'll do that" or "I know where...", but only for a second was I amazed because after all we were once 4-Hers and that's one of the things 4-H taught us.
