Personally, I think the lighting is more important that the wall color. Wall color should make you happy. Lighting should make the fabric happy.
dd, I think I'm assuming a lot, too. I'll probably have very little wall space when all is said and done. I'm still leaning towards pale yellow. Will post pictures when it's finished.
