I'm reviving this post. I just HQ a mini log cabin from this thread. Tried to take a close up pic of my crooked stitching, but no luck. Question--would I be better off MQ diagonally through the LC blocks instead? I spent a lot of time piecing the LC and think maybe I should HQ, but really having a tough time keeping stitching straight with all the seam allowances.
