I've got a question about the heat and drought damaged shrubs and rose bushes. I don't know if they are totally dead or if they may come back from the roots, but the branches above the ground are dry, brown and brittle. Normally we don't prune roses and shrubs until the month of January when they start to grow for spring. It looks to me like I might as well cut off everything that is brown now as I can get to it. What do you think?
