Do you remember the Quaker Oats cookie recipe from back in 1976-1979. They always came out chewie that first day and if any were left over the net day they were crunchie. It was a win win situtation. But can not get them to come out that way now. Now they are cakey.
Don't remember that recipe but I do remember the old Better Homes and Garden recipe and it is wonderful! They stopped using it for a while but it is now back in the red and white checkered recipe book. If you want to try it but can't find it PM me and I will send it to you.
