I also had carpal tunnel in both hands for many years. Would have pain and things dropped out on my hands. Wore the nite braces still did not help. Finally had the surgery in right hand and it turned out wonderful no more pain or dropage. Then as my left hand got worse several yrs later I had surgery on that hand. Surgery was the best thing I had done. Was not painful and would do it again if I had to. Good luck.
