Get a second doctor to check your arm, I had surgery for carpal tunnel, didn't help ,then I was told I have fibromilga(spelled wrong)which acts like cerpal tunnel in the wrist/arms. I still have the pain worse in the hand that I had surgery on than the other one. I worked at the time . so go carefully with this, the knife is not always the answer.
