I would love to have a smart car it is on my wish list.
We really checked them out and they have more leg room than our gmc suv. They are built with a crash cage so you are very safe in the passenger area. sort of like what they put in race cars. We was one that was hit by a sudan doing 60 mph and the back was bashed but the roll cage area was like new. the airbags went off and the driver didn't even get a scratch. That's what sold me on one. also they do good in snow . Our niece has one and she wouldn't give it up for anything. I tried to buy it off of her and she said no. Also if you are alone the passenger seat goes flat for lots of hauling room. they start at $15,000 and depending on the goodies you at go up from there.
