When my husband was diagnosed with Cancer my quilt guild (Bluenosers) made us a beautiful quilt which I placed on his casket, and it is bright blues and white with some reds - with hearts and mariners compasses (he was a naval architect). It was so wonderful because he requested no flowers and it now hangs in my dining room - I remember their loveing stitches and him each time I see it.
