Filing cabinet, in hanging pendaflex folders with squared off bottoms (you bend the folders). Two fit side by side and you can get about 10 in comfortably. I also have an underbed storage plastic box full of much older ones from the 60's and 70's and the height is perfect for patterns laid on their side, HOLDS A LOT!. Also have a lot in 3 ring binders, depends on how current the patterns are. Love your black pug, I have a silver (supposed to have been black) and a fawn. :)
