Love your fabrics Dee! and I agree with the inconsistencies of the amount of embroidery on these blocks. I really like the way you continued yours. My hearts got lost in the background until I added embroidery around them. I'm finished with the applique on block #17 - hardly any embroidery on that one!! Haven't done it yet though, but at this point I'm thinking extra around the hearts might look nice there too.
