Here's my featherweight story:

I had been dreaming of becoming a featherweight owner for years. About a year ago, I began seriously looking on eBay, but they were going for between $400-600 for a good, clean one with extras. One day, I happened to click on "Buy It Now" and sorted according to "newly listed". There, at the top of the page was a 221 Featherweight Centennial Edition, excellent condition, decals intact, with two sets of attachments, 2 keys, original manual, case in very good condition, lubricant (no oil can, unfortunately). It was $225 Buy It Now with free shipping.

With each click on another photo, my heart rate increased. I couldn't click "Buy It Now" fast enough!

Waiting for my new baby to arrive was pure torture! She is in perfect running order, purrs like a kitten! I use her every time I have a sewing session away from home.

I did later purchase an incremented throat plate, so that I can now sew a perfect 1/4" seam. That cost me over $40, but well worth it!

I love my new baby...named her "Violet".
