I was really REALLY careful after reading about this blocks measuring small, and mine is too. 12.25". I've marked it with a note so I know it may need to be re-sewn or replaced. I'll make that decision after I see the final assembly.
You know, I was reading the blog on the Take 2 website and someone posted there that the block was coming out 12.25 even though she paper pieced it. Someone responded how important it was to have a scant 1/4" seam. Well yeah it is, but it's kind of a moot point when you're paper piecing.
