Default Bright Hopes and Bird's Eye View

Howdy All, my DH and I have been married 36 years. We were very young, only 20 and 21. Can't believe we made it this far! Anyway, I must comment on all your beautiful blocks:

Honchey, I love that "don't fence me in". That's kind of my motto. Great horse fabric and black birds!!

JanieW, Love the blue and yellow and the happy boy in bright hopes. He looks like he just lasso'd something.

QuiltE, Love your cows and very pretty birds. The blocks go nicely together!!

dublb, very lovely shades of blue in your bright hopes!!

anael, your blocks look great!! so pretty and cute and go well together!

JanRN, those totems are magnificent!! Very nice colors in both blocks!!

Gardnergal970, great job on both blocks!!! I love the blanket stitch, it's one of my favorites to hand stitch, it looks great!!!

Wendiq, I absolutely love your blocks!!! Great idea to put the rick rack around the circle, very creative! Your bright hopes is very cute, nice choice of fabrics and colors!!

CookieLM, I just love your turquoise!! Very pretty blocks and go well together!

QuiltingNinaSue, what great fabrics in your blocks. The horse fabric is beautiful in both blocks. Wonderful colors and prints!!!!!

Mirabell, very beautiful fabrics, great job!!

I'll get mine on soon, haven't had a chance to post them.

OK, I know I'm getting a little too far ahead but have any of you checked out clover blossom?? Would some of you
experienced paper piecers take a look at it when you get a chance. I don't know if it's me or the pattern. In the "A" section I think the lines in the half sq. triangles are going the wrong way. Also, it looks to me like the other sections, except for the stem, have to be pieced on the right side of the paper instead of the wrong side for it to come out right. Hope I've explained this right. Also hope the problem isn't me or I'll have to make an appointment for a lobotomy.

Thank you!
