I have the Kindle 3G with a keyboard and love it. If I were buying one today, I would definitely get the Kindle Fire. I find that I would have enjoyed it even more if it were backlit. Only the Kindle Fire has backlighting which makes it easier to read in the evening or in bed at night. Even with the bedside light, I would be more comfortable with just a little more light. Thinking about giving this to my husband and getting a Fire for me. Has to wait though, just bought a new Canon SLR camera!
