My daughter and I each made our first quilt as high school students. She is not currently a quilter, but I'm guessing she will jump back on the bandwagon eventually like I did.

I don't consider a person to be 'old' unless they act like it...that may be at 30 or at 100!
I tell people I'm not ever going to be 'old'.

My friend Granny Snipes is the kind of older person I would like to become. She is a bouncy, vibrant individual who started college at 68 after getting her GED (thanks to encouragement from my mom) and was perfectly at home with all the 18 year olds. They voted her Spring Fling Queen! She celebrated her 90th birthday on a flight from her sister's home in Washington or Oregon (don't remember which) to Branson, MO.
