Don't know your situation, but I purchased a Janome 6500 from SewingMachinesPlus.com, had it is 2 days, no tax due to them being in California, free shipping, less than $900. and it is a WORKHORSE of a machine. I have since purchased a very top of the line embroidery combo machine, but I will never get rid of the Janome because it is so dependable.
