I personally love those repro fabrics and would love something in plaids...I just don't have any. I love the way it is new but looks old. If you don't like the fabrics are you going to display it / use it?
It's my husband's quilt to use as he likes, so in the winter months, I'm sure it will be downstairs either on his chair or on the couch. People will see it but I will be quick to direct their eyes away from the messed up bits. LOL
