I was just excited that I actually had something almost ready to work with (which rare are those times that I am actually prepared in advance!) I plan to add a narrow border with cornerstones as the original pattern called for that will bring it to the 24.5" unfinished size. I plan also to attempt to make a second one of these quilts according to the pattern but in a solid bright color scheme with black background as a fellow class member made hers and it was tempting me back then. If I get lucky enough I may have the difficult decision of picking which to send out and which to finish here. I may have to ask my groups opinion if I get to that point. At the moment I am trying to recover from the bombed out sewing studio, err more like the I knew I had the perfect fabric but where did I hide it bomb!
