I got my board from Joann's the ones they use for the material and stand them up vertical by color and can see the shades better.
I also use the boards from Joann's. The boards that are folded to the center on one side. They cut into 4 boards for me to wind my fabric on and store. However, since I move often, I have found that even the small amount of space taken up by the cardboard takes away from my storage space.
