I wonder how it would look 'on point' with a narrow red or black sash between blocks?
The blocks are great, by the way, but I know exactly what you mean when you say you're done with it. Put it away and rest your eyes for awhile, then go back to it. It'll regain some of it's lost appeal and you'll probably be able to finish it.
