I keep my FQs with my yardages, so I can see the colours all together.
So maybe just go back to Ikea and get a 3rd shelving unit, so you can have all your cabinetry to match, and have full flexibility.
Some use CD storage shelving for FQs.
I've often seen it done that way in LQS' as well.
