I agree with you and I wanted to buy the Brother machine. But when my dealer offered the BL at just $30 more, I took the bait. And I'll tell you, so far I'm happy. The machine is quiet, I can tap on the foot pedal and get one stitch - I was thinking the Juki had the edge because it has speed control, but I don't need it. The BL pedal is highly responsive. I do have a lot more playing around to do, but so far I'm happy. And I do like to go through a dealer rather than purchase online when I can.
