I really like the first one. Looks like the real thing. Easy enough to make the pattern for a finished 12.5" block. Make a grid of 2.5" blocks (5 across and 5 down) and draw your pattern then add the 1/4" seam allowances on all sides of the pieces. The long rectangles look like they are snowballed with 2.5" (plus1/4" SA) squares so cut 3" squares. If you look at the upper right, it is easy to do with the grid.
The top of the leaf is what threw me off. I'm sharing the block with others and I didn't want to guesstimate that part of the block. Thank you!
