I belong to two clubs. One has a meeting once a month during which we sit an haggle about small stuff for an hour and a half and the same people run everything anyhow. Every meeting has a program by one of the members, and we do show and tell (but it's mostly show, not too much tell). We do have a very nice small quilt show.
The other club has almost no structure; the founding ladies run things and we have very short meetings only a few times a year. Everyone brings their sewing machine - knitting - garment sewing - whatever, and sometimes we stay there until midnight - 3:00 AM - 5:00 AM. People come and go as they wish. Last one out lock the door. We have a beautiful quilt show attended by many and have many vendors.
Which one would you rather go to? I stick it out for both.
